Since February, 1993, Eric has served as the broker
and owner of EST Realty. He also co-owns and operates EST
Enterprises, a real estate service company which places emphasis on consultation,
appraisal valuation, new home construction, and residential development promotion and
management.As president of the Lakeview Estates
Homeowners Association, Eric's duties include the dispersal of the Rules
and Regulations & the Covenants and Restrictions that govern Lakeview
Estates, which is a residential Planned Unit Development.
Through his experience with EST Enterprises of Chillicothe, Eric
became familiar with the process of conducting rural, residential, and farm appraisal
valuations. He recently received this Certified General Real Estate
Appraisal License after completed over 180 hours of appraisal licensure
education and passed the Certified General Real Estate Appraisal Exam
and obtaining over 3,000 hours of appraisal experience over 2 1/2 years.
Eric is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the Missouri
Association of Realtors (MAR), serving on the Board of Directors since 1997. He is also
past president and current member of the North Central Missouri Association of Realtors.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture
from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a minor in Agricultural Economics.
Currently, he serves on several committees for Alpha Gamma Rho - Theta Chapter, Columbia,
Missouri, and is a lifetime member of the MIZZOU Alumni Association. He is a graduate of
the Dale Carnegie Training Course and served as a Graduate Assistant. He has served as a
coordinator for the Chillicothe Leadership Academy after graduating the program in 1994
and is a graduate of the Chillicothe Citizens Police Academy.
Eric also is very active in many community and civic
organizations. He has served in many capacities within the
Chillicothe Rotary Club including President. Eric also serves on
the District level with Rotary, serving as Chairman of the District 6040
Conference for 2004 held in Chillicothe and Assistant District
Governor in 2007-08. Just one of the
many civic organizations that occupies Eric's time is the Chillicothe
Chamber of Commerce Board which he served on for over 5 years. This board is a "working board" with many
responsibilities such as the 4th of July Freedom Festival, Christmas
Parade which he chaired in 2004, Chautauqua in the Park, and the Chamber Auction
which he co-chaired in 2000. Eric also has served on the Board of
Directors of the Grand River Area YMCA for six years as well as its President in 2005.
Eric married the former Angela Heisterberg also of Chillicothe in
April, 2000. They have four children; two girls Seanacie who is
currently attending the University of Missouri - Columbia; Savannah who
lives in Chillicothe and two boys Kelton
who is attending the Chillicothe High School and Edison who will be
entering pre-school.
